California Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP)
AEP's mission is to enhance, maintain and protect the quality of natural and human environments. Founded in 1974, we are a non-profit association of public and private sector professionals with a common interest in serving the principles underlying the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) which include environmental assessment, analysis, public disclosure and reporting.

Local Chapter Activities
Local chapters offer a wide range of services and activities, typically consisting of a regular newsletter, membership meetings featuring top environmental professionals discussing current environmental topics, and a chance to network with local environmental professionals from diverse backgrounds and environmental fields.
Professional Award Program
The Professional Award Program provides an excellent opportunity for professional recognition of outstanding achievements and document preparation. AEP offers an awards program, the results of which are presented at the State Conference.
